Blogger Swap

I just participated in my first blogger swap ever! I had a chance to meet a new blogger, Lena of Life with LeeLee and B plus Annie Louise and shop for her which was a lot of fun. The goal of the swap was to get everyone ready for spring and to celebrate Pi Day, 3.14. Lol.

Holiday schedules!

Wow, this month has been even crazier than I expected! But I am having so much fun! We just got back last night EARLY this morning from a trip to Michigan – a total of 24 hours in the car there and back for about a day and half visit with my sister. We left on Friday morning. Whew! But it was worth it to see my sister graduate with her bachelors in accounting. I’m so proud of her! She’s the one just younger than me and has been through so much. She was diagnosed with lupus when she was in high school and has been through some rough battles that would have killed anyone else’s spirits, but not hers. She is a warrior and my heroine. Love her and would do anything for her. Including driving to see her in one short weekend. 🙂

While I don’t have an outfit post on my blog today, I am guest posting over at my friend Alicia’s blog – Fashion by Alicia. I hope you’ll check out my post on holiday makeup products – which are really my everyday products too! Alicia has a great blog and is quite the image consultant! She’s one of the fabulous friends I’ve made through blogging (which makes it all the more rewarding.) Please show her blog some love today!

Also, don’t forget to enter my What I’m Wishing For giveaway post to win a set of four Ann Taylor Perfect Skinny belts, it ends tonight!

My winter skin regime

  • OPI Avojuice – It’s small enough that I can keep it at my desk. I love the scent and the pump dispenser!
  • Suave Advanced Therapy Lotion – I use this as soon as I get out of the shower and also use it after I wash my hands. Been a loyal fan since I was a teen.
  • Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer – You still need SPF protection in the winter and this has it. My year round moisturizer.
  • e.l.f. Nourishing Cuticle Pen – I keep one at my desk, in my purse and at home on my bathroom vanity. At $1 a pop, you can’t go wrong.
  • ChapStick Lip Moisturizer with SPF 15 – I keep one in my purse and use it throughout the day to keep my lips from chapping.
  • Aquaphor – My holy grail of moisturizers. I use it to combat ‘eczema’ on my daughter and husband’s skin. During the winter months, I use it on dry, chapped noses and lips. I also apply some on my lips in the morning as I’m doing my makeup and at night before I go to bed.

What do you use during these especially harsh months?

And…last not but not least. I’d like to announce the winner of the Jewelmint Credit Giveaway!

Congrats to Jane Squared! I’ve sent you an email and am looking forward to your reply! Thank you everyone for entering.

I just kicked off the Ann Taylor Perfect Skinny Belts giveaway yesterday, so if you haven’t already entered, head on over!
